Reports To: Support Engineering Team Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be able to read electronic schematics and understand the principles of audio, digital audio workstations and audio technology experience in the audio industry. The Electronics Repair Technician is primarily responsible for repairing all DiGiCo, Calrec and Solid State Logic equipment as well as similar brands. The Technician demonstrates proficiency in circuit board rework and repair.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will have no direct supervisory responsibility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete test and repair to factory specifications of new and customer owed products
- Manage multiple concurrent support cases that require follow up with parts, log and session files, or any other information for resolution in the case
- Maintain accurate service tickets, customer service records and service database records
- Liaise with the Customer Support Administration Team for shipping and provision spares, replacement or loaner parts
- Work in collaboration with managers of US & UK support teams to report technical issues
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Electronic or Audio Engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Team oriented individual with the ability to work under own initiative
- Component level rework and/or troubleshooting skill
Eligibility Requirements:
- Candidate is required to work out of our Farmingdale, NY or Lititz, PA office.
