JOB TITLE: AUDIOTONIX ERP ANALYST

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week
(These are normal working hours. To support specific project activities throughout the year, the working hours might need to be altered to accommodate supporting business needs in other time zones)

JOB SUMMARY: A key role in supporting the roll out of Epicor ERP across the Audiotonix group. Providing first line support to our end users and delivering key project tasks. The ERP function has such a wide breadth that this role could develop towards a more dedicated technical or functional path.
KEY DUTIES: Assist with the delivery of project tasks
These will be aligned to Group ERP Objectives, project milestones and change requests. These will extend to but not limited to:
- Data Migration from legacy systems to ERP
- Prepare and manage and execute data conversions through Epicor’s DMT tool.
- Configuration delivery
- Requirement gathering
- Documentation and specification of configurations.
- Delivery of Queries and Dashboards
- Delivery of reports using SSRS
- BPMs and Functions
- End User Training
- Tools
- Epicor toolset & Kinetic application studio.
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft SQL Reporting Services
- Data Analytics (Epicor Data Discovery, Data Analytics)
- DocStar
- Assist with ERP functional delivery
- GAP Analysis Requirements Gathering End User Training
- Documentation of Operating Procedures.
- First line support to ERP End Users
- Using support system manage and progress incidents, liaising with partners where necessary
- Provide end users with technical support by:
- Owning and responding to technical issues raised on our helpdesk system
- Liaising with partners and suppliers to ensure efficient resolution of technical issues either with Epicor, its tools, or with delivered configurations and integrations
- Analytics delivery
- Help define data collection and analysis processes from both ERP and legacy datasets within the group data warehouse.
- Ensure efficient and optimized data interrogation is practiced across the ERP landscape.
- End delivery of data and analytics ensuring data retrieval conforms to group security policies.
- Data warehousing – Oversee delivery & management of the group Data Warehouse. Extending to:
- Database administration & design
- Backup
- Security & access
- Continual ERP Improvement – The cloud ERP cycle is continual and will mean that Audiotonix will be constantly deploying new software versions and supporting tools. The role consequently demands the following:
- Continual learning, including significant self-learning, of the ERP tool set. Learn the capabilities of Epicor applications, releases and toolset and help transition between versions.
- Assist with the testing, preparation and roll out of upgrades.
- Good knowledge of technology and infrastructure required to underpin the evolving ERP solution.
- Infrastructure readiness
- Ensure local infrastructures are prepared sufficiently for ERP activities. Liaising with local infrastructure owners you will ensure that group businesses are technically ready for ERP project phases and system upgrades.
- ERP Team Improvement
- Additional responsibilities may include mentoring others.
- Travel to sites will be expected, this will be as required for training/go live aspects of the projects.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
JOB TITLE: ERP ANALYST
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Business Systems/IT Desirable
EXPERIENCE: All Desirable
- Experience in Business Systems across multi-functional processes – engineering, purchasing,
manufacturing, finance and support - Good understanding of ERP system, preferably with extensive experience in Epicor E10.
- Good understanding of relational databases and data extraction techniques.
- Experience of database reporting tools. Experience with data analytics tools.
- Experience working with a helpdesk ticketing system.
- Good knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR) and Cyber Security processes.
- Good knowledge of ITIL-based processes and relevant certification.
